Our Bronze Pass provides you with essential industry knowledge, CV building and interview skills. In addition to this our Silver and Gold passes combine the online learnings of the 1-2-1 sessions with real world trackside motorsport experience.

PASS FAQ's

Our bronze passes are open to anyone of any age and all experience levels. We recommend that all clients under the age of 16 have a parent or guardian present during the career advice meetings.

For the Silver and Gold passes the minimum age 16 due to insurance purposes and track regulations. We screen our clients prior to assigning them to a team to ensure a good fit and the right environment for you to grow and develop.

To book a pass, simply fill out the contact form. From there we will:

1) Email you confirming that you want to go ahead with the pass.

2) Send out an invoice with a payment link attached.

Once the invoice has been paid the process will begin! We will send you a form to complete and get you booked in for your first 1-2-1 session.

For the Silver and Gold Pass we do not cover the cost of accommodation or travel expenses.

For all passes we do not cover travel fees to and from the circuit. We work with our clients and partner teams to ensure you are given regular information around your weekend.

Although snacks and refreshments are provided on the race weekends we would advise bringing a packed lunch where possible.

All race weekends are fully covered under the Pitlane Development public liability insurance.

We also provide a written Rick Assessment for trackside activities that is regularly reviewed. In addition to this we provide all our partners with PPE, accident and near miss books.

 

The program focuses on practical skill development. You’ll be actively involved in various tasks, gaining experience in areas such as:

 

  • Vehicle Preparation: Assisting with the maintenance, repair, and setup of race cars.

  • Data Analysis: Learning to interpret and utilize data to improve performance.

  • Team Communication: Collaborating with engineers, mechanics, and drivers.

  • Logistics and Operations: Understanding the complexities of managing a race team.

 

This real-world experience significantly enhances your employability and sets you apart from other candidates.

The passes have the following restrictions and rules applied. (a) 1-2-1’s must be completed within the time period set by the length of the email support. For example; the Silver pass includes 2x 1-2-1 sessions and 3 months of email support. Sessions must be completed within 3 months of purchasing the pass. If the sessions are not used in this time period they will be forfeited. This is also non refundable. (b) Clients must complete a minimum of 1x 1-2-1 before attending  a race weekend. If the first session has not been completed in the allotted time frame the client will not be allowed trackside.

(c) The race weekend experience that clients are assigned for the Silver Pass is based on a number of factors. This includes their current experience level, location and performance during the 1-2-1 sessions. Pitlane Development takes a zero tolerance policy towards bullying and discrimination of any kind from both the client and the partner race team. If you have any negative experience during your weekend please raise it immediately to us at info@pitlanedevelopment.co.uk. (d) Pitlane Development will provide insurance, a risk assessment, indemnity waivers and media consent forms to the client prior to the race weekend. The last 3 must be read and signed prior to the race weekend. (e) Pitlane Development will arrange tickets for the client prior to the event. Gold pass holders will be provided team kit.

PITLANE DEVELOPMENT RESERVE THE RIGHT TO EVICT THE CLIENT FROM THE RACE WEEKEND IF THEY FEEL THE CLIENT IS IN BREACH OF ANY OF THE POINTS ABOVE. In this instance any outstanding activity’s on the pass will be cancelled. This is non refundable to the client.
